We see in the book of Judges there is a cycle that is repeated many times. Forgetting God; calamity; remembering God; deliverance; & forgetting God again.
Have we ever been guilty of forgetting what God has done for us? Do you want to know when we forget God the most? After great spiritual blessings. After revival. During revival- prayer support is up; giving is increased, participation is at an all time high; the singing is superb; we’re all praying around the altar; we’re on time... It’s easy to remember God when things are going good. But will we forget God? Dr. Mark McCleary admonishes us to Remember, Don't Forget.
It's Homecoming Week! We use clichés because they’re true. And the saying, “there’s no place like home,” fits that definition. Home is where the people you know are. The places you’re familiar with. The habits and customs make perfect sense, because maybe you grew up with them. Well, this week long celebration of 110 years in ministry, will take place virtually and we sit in anticipation of your return home to Ebenezer. WELCOME HOME CHILDREN!
